Google has introduced a new block of ads that will be displayed on the home page of the search engine in mobile browsers.

The new Discovery ads have been announced today. on Google Marketing Live and will be available to all advertisers later this year. An example is presented above.

In addition to appearing in Google's "Discover" feed in mobile browsers, Discovery ads also appear in YouTube's main feed and in the "Gmail Promotions" tab.

Discovery ads are designed to help users discover products they did not even search for.

As Google explains:
