Google announced extend the capabilities of Merchant Center to all online retailers, which allowed them to directly provide up-to-date information on products.

Product data feeds uploaded to Google Merchant Center can be displayed in search results, which will be updated in real time.

By giving all retailers access to this feature, no payment is required and this is not the case. It is necessary to have a Google Ads campaign.

As long as you have a Merchant Center account and sell products in the United States, you can download a product data feed directly to Google.

Along with this update, Google is adding new ways to help retailers who tag their products for search results with structured data.

Product Report in the Search Console

The new Google Search Console provides a new report on products marked with the appropriate structured data from schema.org.

The report informs site owners of any errors detected in the structured data.

When a problem is resolved, the product report can be used to validate the fix and request that the pages be re-searched.

This is one of the updates that we reported would likely arrive on Search Console in the near future. Now, it's online.

Finally, Google announced an update to Manufacturer Center to improve the way product information is displayed in knowledge panels.

Update Manufacturing Center

Manufacturers can improve the visibility of their products in search results with Google Manufacturer Center.

Retailers can now provide product information via the Manufacturer Center, including product descriptions, variations, images, and videos.
